Ok i searched and nothing came up. Im looking at gettng a used evo8/9 with between 50-75k miles on it.. need to lowrr my payments cuz i got a house.. so question is how reliable are evos? Im worried bout getting one with that many miles but its wats n my budget.. anything i shld look for or be cautious bout? Thanks

 

If your buying. Leakdown and compression. Test drive and listen for bearing, TC, trans noises.

Other than that everything else can and will be upgraded,LOL

 

^yup. you can always get a built tranny/transfer case anyways.

The 4g63 is a reliable engine. Make sure to keep on top of the maitenance. Change the engine oil, tranny oil, diff fluids and ACD fluid as stated in the service manual.
