I bought my Evo X a few months ago and I noticed about 2 months every now and then the brakes give off like a high pitched squeal/nails on a chalkboard sound as I slowing down or just before I am about to be done breaking. I took it to the dealer and they said they found nothing wrong, that it's the dust that's causing the brakes to make that noise and they recommended that I clean it out with high pressure water or something but didn't really understand what they were saying. Anybody have the same issues/solutions for this. Appreciate it.

 

its screech from wear indicator on pads (which sounds like isnt case for you) , else its normal minor annoyance in most evos out there.....
