whats the best oil to run in winter
whats the best oil to run in winter
I was wondering what oil I should use for the winter? I live in Maryland and temps around here doesnt get above 38 degress. I have a 550 hp evo 8 stock block. Someone please help
With my 2.1 I use the amsoil dominator 10W30 in the winter time and in the summer either their 15W50 blend or Brad Penn 20W50.
In the winter stick with a lower cold weight and let it warm up. We stay in the low 30's all winter here in Pittsburgh.
I would go with the amsoil if you are stock block. What turbo? If its an FP remember the Red or Black need a high Zinc and Phos content. The dominator series fulfill these requirements.

I thought dominator is only a race fluid
