Go with a 6" straight back muffless.. HEK YAH! I know this ones coming out of the blue on a high performance forum but GO FOR PERFORMANCE DUDE! I can tell you wanna get into a fartcan battle with some local straight piped civics but don't baffle them with your bull****.




If you are dead serious pick up a QTP cutout... loud as F when you want it and quiet when you're taking the lady out for a nice dinner. Don't make expensive decisions you will regret in a month.

 

nothing sounds worse than a murdered out cobalt ss with a downpipe and cut off stock tip though!

 

Aps 3.5", ets 3.5", ams 3". I've had a greddy Evo2, a greddy comp tic, an Aps 3.5" an ams 3.0" and have a greddy TI that will be going on eventually. So far the loudest is the AMS followed by the APS. I have a feeling the greddy TI will be loud too. However out of them all the one that had the best tone was the Evo2. Just my opinion.

 

Had stage 0 (stock pcm) 50 trim, old style agp mani, 2.5 to 3in O2 and full 3 in B&B exhaust no cat or res or muffler. Crazy loud and didn't pop much, but my friends stock turbo with same exhaust did tho.

 

Yea exhaust are not cheap so before I buy another one want some input so I will be happy with the next one I purchase.

 

I loved the sound of my mpx exhaust on my srt-4. They are the best sounding 4 cylinders IMO. I am going with Megan Racing on my evo. Trying to keep it a little quieter.

 

Well on that note...... Had a QTP cut out on my srt and was great for the track but I don't like the roar under the floorboard down the highway, I really don't care what others think about my car and not tryin to rice it out but want more outa it than I have now sound wise. My goal is to spank an 03 cobra here that has a ported blower, spray and ton of other mods..... Tired of his crap lol so spring will tell all

 

I changed from a greddy evo2 with a resonated test pipe to a Greddy Ti with a straight pipe and it was stupid loud I had to put the resonated test pipe back on so it would at least quiet down when the clutch was in. I don't think a straight pipe would be much louder than the Ti.

go with the ets or greddy you'll be happy with how loud it is

 

So they are louder than the buschur? Everywhere I read people said buschur was the loudest

 

remove your cat and run the buschur sd muffler or straight pipe...wont get any louder unless you do a dump abd then it sounds like ****

 

just if you want it really really loud run an open 02 housing into a mega phone and hook a auxiliary speaker to that on a 50000000 wattt amp and just be so loud people in jdm land will be jealous of your ricer honda like loud exhaust
