Hey guys, after many weeks of creeping around the site I finally became a member. I currently own a tarmac black Evo IX with minor mods. Looking forward to dealing with all you guys especially on the for sale section I see a ton of parts I would love to purchase! Since this is my first thread I might as well ask my first question.
Well this is my issue, I currently DD my Evo. I love the car to death but driving around 150 miles a day to work I would like to save the Evo and get some sort of work car. Since I drive a lot of miles I was thinking about getting something really economical with amazing MPG's. I've done some research and all the sites are saying a Toyota Prius is absolutely the best car if it comes to MPG's. I've looked into the Volt but I'm not ready to spent 2k to get the charge unit installed in my house. If any of you have any feedback on the Prius (2005-2010) Please tell. What I'm mainly looking to find out is real world MPG's on highway. Toyota says it get 49mpg's on highway but its hard to believe.
Thanks
