Decreasing the sound of your exhaust

I've ran into a problem recently with my cars inspection. Now with a test pipe installed I am hit 97.7 decibels and for the inspection the car cannot be louder than 95db. I was wondering if turning down your boost significantly for the inspection would help out with that. Also if anyone has any easy tricks or suggestions I would greatly appreciate the help, thanks!

What about one of those silencers you put in the end of the muffler just for inspection?

Boost has absolutely nothing to do with your dB readings while idling. Get yourself a tailpipe silencer or get a cat and a resonator.

Put on OEM for inspections or tail pipe resonator.

I guess I should have put a few more details. The re inspection is tomorrow and the exhuast from the downpipe back is all welded so I cant just simply swap in the stock sadly. Also the test is done at half of the redline so 3500 which is why I wondered if adjusting the boost would affect it. I am looking for something I can do just for the inspection and then pull around the corner and undo and I don't have access to a silencer by tomorrow either.
