what are they asking for it dollar wise? Does he mean a decent plow truck or a 78 chevy that leaks 1 qt of oil for every 500 miles it runs?

Oh, I didn't see it.

That's way too much. A salvage title does go for much, plus there is the very real risk it won't ever be 'right' again.

He's had it listed multiple times for sale. It's probably been for sale for a year now.

yep. after you put the money into it, you end up with a car that is probably right around the price of one with a clean title. Id pass, but doesnt hurt to make an offer for what you want to pay. Id also be concerned that the milage is correct.

Looks like a BIIIIIIG headache...steer clear of a car needing to be inspected, you will be surprised with all sorts of hidden inspection fees and such..Maybe if you could get the car for half of that then go for it, I think you will definitely regret buying a hacked up car, trust me I've made the mistake.

hey thanks everyone for the advice. I decided that it wouldn't be worth it at all since even if i fix it i wouldnt be able to sell it for more than 10k anyways so it would just become a money pit

Good call, just wait for the right one. Are you on a budget or something? I see you have a X. Were you looking to fix it and make a profit? Drag car?
