Finally scooped up an EVO!!!
Congrats on the new purchase. I can't believe it took you this long.
Dan will not be coming to STM simply because we do not get along. He is pretty talented so I am sure he can figure out his car on his own. He owns his own local shop so he has plenty of resources to get it done.
Congrats again!

My grin has yet to go away.
The car had some ugly *** 18's on it the opriginal owner wanted to keep them. The evo 9 wheels look much better IMO anyways. It is an MR SE hence the lip the interior has the sweet red stitching as well. The car also had a sub in it as he didnt do the best job hiding the wiring I can tell you it wouldnt be hard to see what was unbolted from the car and rebolted back on. Nothing was under done under the hood. The vac lines are still intact so no BC was present. However I'll probably scoop up a cable soon after the holidays to learn about the ecu and start taking a look at things more in depth (I agree this is the right thing to do)
Come spring I will do a timing belt and change fluids in the trans, tcase, rear. I'm no stranger to the evo as in the grey temp garage lays a 04 GSR with an empty engine bay.
As far as the STM thing goes, I'll leave it like this. My car won't be going there. End of story lol

Yes I love the car soooo much more then the srt. I was also planning on keeping it stock, that lasted a week. LOL It already has an exhaust on it and a few other goodies coming for it. I'm trying to keep it pretty mild though as this is my DD.
