ALRIGHT.... so heres my story... tbh was not expecting a evo today... me and my dad went down to go get a new igniter for the stove... and get down to a place in miami... they did not have one, so we had one shipped to the store... and on the way back were talking about how different the evo would be driving than my lancer.. we were going to take i-95 back.. but some dumbass blocked us in and we took countyline rd (441).. and the fail mitsubishi dealer where i got my car was coming up.. and im like up to you if u wanna go in and see if they got any evos.... all of a sudden he jerked my cars steering wheel (let him drive it for once) and we pulled into the dealer... were looking on the lot and see a black 2010 evo se for 36k msrp... and 38k with dealer fees and ****... so we ask the lady angela who was our rep and she said we got a white evo gsr on the showroom... so im taking a look... it had the gsr rims, rockford fosgate system, fastkey, and h.i.d.s.. fully loaded evo gsr except for the navigation and sunroof.... we look at the sticker price and it said 40,000.. im like WTF WHY SO HIGH... turns out its a 2011. (thats also before dealer fees) We were like wont take the black one... we want white.. and the white has the manual tranny <3 and we were able to trade my car in for 10,500... lost 1k on the car but w/e and got the 40,000 evo for 35,600 after dealer fees... and we put 4k down.. our payments are around 575 a month with gap insurance xD... this car is *****in SEXY.... now my first investment will be a radar detector. but first thing on the car is going to be my led tail lights off my lancer i traded in. and someone is buying my xxr rims and tires for 1000 so im happy

NO IM NOT GOING TO BLOW THE CLUTCH, im going to baby it until engine is broken in...


but me and my dad were talking, and i said boy we didnt get a new igniter for my mom... but we got a new car... we were both cracking up laughing, and he said this is my xmas gift. xO

well, i had a GG and the tails blended so nicely... but if it looks tacky in any way, ill put back the black tails

 

i agree, the stock tail lights look fantastic

thanks guys.. glad i dont have that lancer anymore. and first mods, im thinking of ams lower, upper, and intercooler with a new bov (not getting hks)

 

leave your BOV alone. the stock one is perfect for that car until you start getting over 30psi. an aftermarket BOV will do absolutley nothing for performance.

your best bet would be a turbo back, and a tune. that'll do more for you than piping.

Great looking X! The world of forced induction is a new venture for sure, but well worth it. Just tread lightly and read up on as much as you can and don't hesitate to ask if you need an answer to a question. Last thing we want to see is that beauty messed up!
