Ok I have an 05 evo and it did not come with hids. Now I'm wanting to buy hids so do I get the ds2 or do I get the 9006 I think what's in there now.

 

9006 is your fog lights, ds2 is your head lights.

In non-HID equipped Evos:
9006 - low
9005 - high

HID Evos:
D2S - low
9005 - high
H11 - fog

HB4 is the HID conversion to go to HID. Do not get above 5000k. Light will be too blue to do you any good. And no, you cannot just get the D2S bulbs. You need a HID kit (ballasts, wiring, bulbs).

 

Yes I know u have to get the ballest and wires I was asking since my car has the 9006 head light bulbs do I get the 9006 hid bulbs or the ds2 hids?
