Gauge advice needed, Stewart Warner boost gauge

I have a set of Stewart Warner Gauges that I have had sitting for sometime now. All I need is a boost gauge to match... And here is my issue. I am running 24psi but I spike 27psi... Stewart Warner only offers a 25 and a 40psi gauge with vac. I would really like to run the 25 psi gauge but will running 2psi over the max damage the gauge. I dont plan on running more boost then what i currently am. And here is the other problem with the 40psi gauge.... NO ONE HAS IT IN STOCK!!!! at least to match the others that I have (black face silver trim).

TIA!

You use a boost gauge to learn how much you are boosting. Peak boost is the most important reading.

agreed but when it 2 psi over the max its pretty easy to notice. Also when we tuned my car we used the dynos gauge which is more accurate

I run the 25psi gauge with 30psi of boost. I don't think the calibration is off.

I have the 40 black face silver trim and love it. I don't know if you go over the alotted boost if it will start doing the defi start up just slamming around or not... this is what i've seen in crazy boost cars. I would be running a boost guage where you can see in numbers what you are boosting at. Isn't that why you want the guage to begin with???
