Hey guys im looking into getting some hks 272's for my VIII so i have a few questions.

Is uprated valvetrain needed for these cams? or is standard valvetrain fine if sticking to the standard redline?

Are ajustable cam gears needed? if so, what are peoples thoughts running oem cam gears with them? will gains still be seen?

Any info would be greatly appreciated, Thanks!

 

I think any cam upgrade neccesitates a valvetrain upgrade as well.
