Evo 8/9 Springs & Retainers - Probably Covered 100 Times
The question in this thread has probably been covered 100 times, but because the search terms are long, it leads to a lot of non-relevant posts. So I apologize in advance to those who will be all upset about this question.
I am not an Evo owner, I am a DSMer with a 99 GSX. I am doing a budget 16G build to see how far I can push the 16G on pump gas. I would like to use Evo 8/9 springs and retainers, however I know that the 9's utilize MIVEC technology and that means that the cams are different, are the springs and retainers the same still or do I need to get some from an 8 only?
