Hallman Issues
Just recently installed a Hallman mbc unit on my ix. The unit is the in-cabin version which I have yet to finish mounting but it works. I installed the unit by t-ing the the bov line going to the intake manifold and the wastegate actuator to the hallman solenoid (keeping the oem line with restrictor pill inside). My problem is that with the knob turned all the way down the car wants to stay at 15psi ish, which is understandable because its turned down but this is were things get weird, as the rpms climb the boost climbs with it, all the way up past 20psi. Why won't my unit hold a certain psi of boot? any ideas?

No the hallman unit was purchased brand new. I will try routing it w/o the restrictor pill this weekend to see if it will remedy my problem. My question is why would people tell to install with the pill rather than without to "fix" their problems?
