Can i drive around with a new fp black installed without a tune

so im getting the turbo put on at one shop and tuned at another. is it ok to drive around for couple weeks on my fp black if im not hitting boost?

That is correct. Do not even slightly get into boost though. Bad things will happen.

Everyone is right. Do not get on the boost at all and as an extra measure of security, turn the boost down all the way if you have a manual boost controller.

Yes, u will be ok just stay out of boost! Make sure u start a thread when u get it tuned and let us know how it turned out!!!

If by problem if you mean "will it be detrimental to the engine" the answer is NO, it will be fine. the car might not drive perfect until you get it tuned, but you won't hurt anything just tooling around in vaccum all day.

yes. you could pull the turbo and run NA if you wanted to.

I'm in a similar situation; installing the parts at my house, but the tuning shop is a 2 hour drive for me. Be very careful, I'm considering taking mine to the shop on a trailer just to be safe.
