New Member, not driving an Evo however (08 Si)...need some help.

Hi guys,

First off just want to say im envious of all of you, I have been in love with Evo's for a long time, however my long commute to work (140 miles/day) just does not make owning one realistic for me. I currently drive a 2008 Honda Civic Si, and I'm looking to purchase some 06 Evo MR BBS wheels for my car. I've found some but I need some factory lugs for them as the seating on your factory lugs are not the same as mine. Anyways, I could use some help, if you know anyone selling them, or a good place to buy OEM parts please let me know.

Hopefully one day I can be an Evo owner when I can afford to have one for a secondary vehicle. I plan to hang around and check out all your rides.

Here's a couple pictures of the civic as she sits right now.

I think your SI looks nice as is. I dont think the BBS's will flow with the car.

yeah im starting to rethink it, its just unfortunate because the HFP rims that are on it right now are pretty damn heavy. i believe the BBS wheels are around 18 lbs?

i love the car, this is actually my second 8th gen Si. It's extremely reliable, gets good gas milage and is fun to drive. It's not the fastest car in the world, but with the lsd it grips corners like a champ and the 8k redline makes it fun to rev. also the gear box is nice, easy to row through the gears.

i have mine tuned with a hondata flashpro (which is on the same level as cobb in the honda world) and just a K&N intake and it actually does help with the lack of torque the car comes with from the factory. My next step will be exhaust and header, i toyed with the idea of supercharging it, but I don't want to mess with the reliability and torque steer. plus its just a fun car right out of the box.
