Evo X GSR question, new owner
Evo X GSR question, new owner
I finally made my way back into an Evo. I previously owned an EVO IX MR that I bought new in 06' which was totalled 10 months later by a drunk driver at a stop light. I just bought a 2010 WW Evo X and picked it up yesterday, only 3k miles, I feel like I got a good deal. The wait was totally worth it! I had almost forgotten how amazing these cars drive. I drive/repair BMW's for a living and the way the EVO handles is just amazing. Anyways the car is some very light mods and I had a question about software and stock boost.
The car has an aftermarket boost gauge and I'm trying to figure out if it has software in it. If feels quicker than I remember my IX being, but its been 4 years. I've done a few hard pulls on it in 2,3, and 4th gears and boost pressure seems to jump to 22-23psi and then only taper to about 18-19psi around 6500rpm, I want to double check it it with a passenger in the car, but I thought these cars stock hit like 20.5 psi max then tapered to about 14-15psi at redline? I know its kind of a vague question but any input is appreciated, thanks
10' EVO X GSR
Defi VS-2 Stepmaster Boost gauge
Works Short-throw shifter
