I've been eying an Evo for quite some time now. Lurking around this site and absorbing all I can about my favorite car. Well I finally got one! A clean and stock white 04' Rs. Let me tell you, I've had it for almost a week now and its all I ever hoped it could be. Can't wait to get some track time in it this weekend
I'll post pics later.
Side question, anyone have any brake pad suggestions for track days? I had Hawks on my last car. don't really care for them off the street. Thanks in advance

Welcome, nice find! Ferodo DS2500's should be good for stock power levels on track.

Nice ride. I definitely prefer the older cars with their less sophisticated electronics and lighter weight. They seem to require a more talented driver to extract the full potential of the car (not that I possess that talent, nor can I afford an Evo ). At any rate...welcome!

You may be right about the driver but to me the X feels like it's limit so much higher than my 8. Kinda miss my old evo but I love the mr except the gas mileage. Nice pick up though good luck!
