Lift points for the EVO
Lift points for the EVO
I have a 2 ton jack that I am using, and I am wondering what the standard lift points are for the car. I went under the front and found that it's a plastic shield. Do I have to remove that to get to the lift point? Or is there something obvious that I am missing?
Thanks!
Thanks!
Depends on what yo're trying to do. On the passenger side front bottom of the bumper, you will find a cover with two plastic push tabs. Remove that and you will expose the tow hook.
I am looking to do an oil change on the car. I did them on my previous cars, but they had a hole in the plastic cover which was their lift point. I didn't see something like that on the Evo.

its not nesassary to lift the car that high. lift it by the passenger door where you would put the stock jack is sufficient. Oil change on Evo is easy.
