Best BOV on my set up.

i have the greddy UICP & LICP still STOCK FMIC, K&N TYPHOON and a greddy type rs BOV.
still stock turbo & wastegate.

i am having a bit issue with my BOV stalling my car once in a while. so i did turn it all the way hard, is this bad for daily drive?.
it did make a bit difference, but idle/stall is still there.
i even have the mbc shut & still shows on my boost gauge 25 wierd eh?
any plave in los angeles that specialize evos?
i get the overboost wastegate malfunction code P0234.
AND NO TUNE.

any advice? will changing my bov fix my problem?

thankss

Get the stock IX or JDM MR metal diverter valve. Cars equipped with MAF sensors tend not to like air that it calculated dumped into the atmosphere. Makes it run too rich, that's why it's stalling.

Jdm Bov and the Evo 9 Bov are the same. Try looking in the forsale section.

i have about 3 year experience with the type RS and its a good bov. you'll get alil flutter if ur very smooth off throttling while boosting but again its not major. also it should not cause any idling/stalling issue if you have the recirculating back into the intake.

Is the BOV open to atmosphere? What do you mean by "i even have the mbc shut "? The tighter you screw the thing in (clockwise) the higher the boost will be.

nothing beats APS, but as i heard they do not make it anymore, so you can try to get a slightly used one .

I have been tried many of them, and never worked as the APS unit. But i heard the new cobb one is good. I personally never tried one of those , so i cant comment on it.
So my opinion if you can get a good used APS , that would be my No1 choice or the Cobb.

First get rid of that Typhoon intake, it causes a loss in power and messes up the MAF readings. Get a Synapse if you want, I got one and my MR bov was leaking at anything over 24PSI, Synapse FWIW performs better then stock in all ways for me.
