So I have base bushings and underhood shifter bushings. I somehow lost one of the two pieces of the underhood shifter bushings and don't know whether to order it again since I was told I can install the base bushings without having to install the underhood shifter bushings and everything will be fine. So I need a few opinions on whether to just reorder the underhood shifter bushings and install both or just install the base bushings and call it a day.

 

You can install the base bushings right now as you do not absolutely need to change them at the same time as the cable buhsings.

I would still suggest to get the underhood cable bushings, they make a very noticeable difference in the precision of the shifts!
