N00b, hopefully soon to be owner

Hey all. Not a NEW member technically, joined a year ago when I was researching a replacement for my '03 WRX. Well the time has come. WRX is paid off and I'm going to go look at a SUPER clean '05 MR next week. While I'd LOVE to know who the PREVIOUS owner was (he did most of the go fast bits and got tuned by AMS), the real reason I'm here is simple:

1) To say herro (herro!)
2) The car has Espilir GT springs...which will have to go because otherwise I won't get it in my driveway...the Do Luck carbon fiber lip will probably need to go too. :sadbanana: So I want to see what stock springs are going for, hell I'd consider a straight up trade. Need to participate more...my damn post count is zero.

So hopeful this works out.....

Tom

Update: Bank approved me. I'm stoked. One important step down....now we go look at it. Yeah I seem to have done it backwards, but he's 4hrs away and I'm not making that drive twice.

I hope is as clean and well taken care of as it sounds. I picked mine up and drove it down for 5 hours but it was worth every minute of it. You will enjoy it too

The suspension will be a pain in the *** to change out (will NOT fit in my driveway as is), and I need to research meth injection since that's part of the tune. Here's the mod list:

Engine:
Evo IX 20G Turbo
invidia O2 Housing
DC Sports Turbo Manifold
Perrin Downpipe
High-Flow Cat
RRE full 3" Stealthback Exhaust
Perrin Fuel Rail
650cc Injectors
Samco Red Radiator Hoses
TurboSmart Evo Specific BOV
Injen Intercooler
HKS Racing Suction Intake
ARC Multicolor Valve Cover
ARC Radiator Cap
HKS Oil Cover Cap
HKS 280i/280e cams
AEM Adjustable Cam Gear
SMC Trunk Mounted methanol Injection Kit
Walbro Fuel Pump
Cyber Speed High Voltage System,
Red RalliArt Air Defuser

Exterior:
Do Luck Carbon Fiber Lip
JDM Black MR Headlights
JDM Black MR Tail Lights
JDM Color Matched Evo IX Rear Bumper
HKS Kansai Carbon Fiber Side Spats

Suspension/Brakes/Wheels:
Espelir GT Springs
Hotchkis Rear Sway Bar
Perrin End Links
Rotora Slotted/Vented Rotors
DC Sports Ti Strut Bar
18x8.5 Volk Time Attack CE28N(Hard to find)with Nitto 555 Extreme Tires

Interior/Car Audio:
Eclipse Sound head unit
JDM Evo IX Black Steering Wheel

Extra Parts I have that will be given to the buyer if I get my asking price:
Blitz Nur Spec Exhaust
Full set of Evo 8 Enkei Wheels with Stock Advan tires
factory Evo lug nuts
Hawk HP+ Front Brake pads (brand new in box)
Hawk HP+ Rear Brake pads (brand new in box)
Gallon of boost juice
Meth injection, boost between 23-24lbs. Meth kicks in at 20. Dyno says over 330 at the wheel. Said he tracked it twice, total of 12 minutes of driving but it was a granny weekend car otherwise. Hasn't been drag raced or launched in the two years that he has owned it. Previous owner to him did the mod work, tune by AMS here in Maryland. Does this list look familiar to anyone?

Dark gray.

If you're in Baltimore then I'm probably a solid 2hrs south of you. If the deal goes through the springs would need to be changed ASAP (no place to alternatively park it) and I'd straight up trade the existing Espilir springs just to get it done.

How much do you want for that lip if you get rid of it?

Now that I'd probably keep since it's not that big, whats it worth? I would see if I even HAVE to once the suspension got changed.

I'm putting the cart in front of the horse, we can talk about it if/when I get the car.

Just picked up my new '10 Octane Blue Pearl SE yesterday. I'm OFFICIALLY part of the family. Just shy of 150 miles on the ODO right now. Bought it with 26 on the clock, after a 13 mile test drive.
