hey hey! wassup everyone! im pretty new to these forums, and just got my evo last week... but figured id just say hey! anyone else in northern cali?? 
anyways... i am absolutely IN LOVE with the evo, the handling and the way it pulls are just unreal! especially coming from driving an '85 camry for the last few years lol 
i just took some pics of mine and my friends car at work, so theyre not all clean and just sittin in the lot - i posted em in another thread already but just in case you havent seen here they are! anyways feel free to give a shout anytime, i love to bull**** about cars!

Nice ride. Good color choice also.
BTW....Poway is pretty long haul to No.Cali. Did you have to go clear down there to find a good deal. I would think you could have done better than SoCal. I know in Escondido they were markin them up around 5k. Just curious.

but anyways, i was going home (to poway) for a week vacation, and my buddy called all the dealers in the area, and poway ended up giving me the best deal ($1000 over dealer invoice). but the closest dealer to me is still 4 hours away, and its crazy how few mitsu's there are up here compared to down south, theyre everywhere!!!and i had a nice welcome home, cuz on my first night back, i was just taking my friend for a quick loop on the freeway and back off and home, and all of a sudden as i get on the onramp there are 6 cars in a row all with exhausts (which ive never even seen something like that up here!) so of course i had to play with them
i didnt even have to shift out of 5th gear though lol.. anyways!thanks to everyone else for the welcomes, hopefully ill be driving this car for a long time, no wrecking this wonderful machine for me!! peas!!

hey thanks again everyone went on a sweet drive through the hills last night with the owner of that blue STi in the pics... we traded cars on the way up.. phew! then switched back when we realized i was almost out of gas the ride down was pretty intense! but anyways the STi owner really loves the evo now also, and really can't get over the way it handles! he plans on trying his car to handle more like an evo... and hopefully i can get my car to make some more power like his (he's got about 80 hp on me now).. either way though both cars are the ****!!!
