oh stop it..if speedfreak didn't say they were a girl... everyone would say..rah rah rah use search button rah rah rah!..

but seriously tho.. you didn't ask a single question in your post..

but i suggest lookin at all the evo general..tuning..engine threads you will learn alot... if it wasn't for this site i wouldn't of ripped apart the motor myself and swapped it myself or did my own clutch in my driveway.

tons of knowledge to be learned..tons of great people.. scratch that..great professors lurking on this forum

enjoyyour new purchase..welcome to the family sis

Exhaust, Intake, and a retune is pretty cheap and can get you some better HP numbers.

I'd slowly modify so you can get used to the power and learn more about the car. Jumping into a high horsepower evo can a little unnerving let alone dangerous.

The car already makes good power but I know its hard to say "no" to modifying. Start with the basics like intake and exhaust and run up to English Racing for a tune. You can harass him with questions while he tunes your car

OK... here is the 100% straight up answer you need.

Don't mod it. Work on driver mod. Be able to handle all of the power that car offers. Very few on these boards can 100% handle the power of an evo.

Once you feel confident in your control of the car, then start adding basic things like a tune. Go to English Racing for the best possible tune in this area. Hope this helps.

Great job buying a car without knowing anything about it.
There are quite a few on these boards that know nothing about an Evo when they are purchased. Kinda the whole reason this place exists
