From Miata to Evo

Hello!
New to the Evo world/community! Just bought my VII a few weeks ago as my daily driver. (05 VII SSL, 56,xxx mile, Ingen intake, Full Apexi Exhaust, APS intercooler, greddy t.timer, and boost control)
My previous DD was a 91 miata. It was mildly modified and handled like a go-kart from Mario Kart. I loved the balance of that car....
But now that I have my Evo...Its like i had a hood lifted off my face, and now i can see the truth...very few cars can come close to the overall performance of the Evolution.

Alot of awesomeness going on at this site, and I am proud to be a part!

congrats! i used to have a miata before, gave it to my brother and he caged it and put some coils on it, that thing handled awesome! i love the NA miatas, its the one car i feel more comfortable at the limit through corners than the evo, but it doesnt have the power, the back seats, or the trunk of the evo lol. anyways congrats and have fun! the forum is filled with mostly helpfull people that are more than happy to help you out, just remember the all mighty search button lol

Welcome.

I did a test drive w/ a MX5 and it was surprisingly quick w/ good handling. but not suited for a big person.

enjoy your evo!

Welcome! Now you got handling and power. Do coilovers and an alignment and you won't miss the Miata at all.
