Welcome bro! From a fellow Canadain'
Yea this is a g8 place, active, fun, basically hype 24/7.
AlliGirl:
Well you can, and there is like 3 or so ppl who actually did that, and actually got them registered and insured. As well, there is 2 people here that are planning to do that as well in the near future.
Though u can't really just drive 2 Canada, custom agencies on both ends (US and Canada) will be nagging at you.

AlliGirl..........first of all, there's so much legal BS to deal with, I chose not to deal with it. you have to go through a web site to make sure the car is allowed entry to Canada. that's a huge GREY area with the Evo. although, it says quite clearly that there is NO Mitsu model for 03 that is not allowed in Canada. problem is, that's only the beginning. trying to get the car a safety and registered and insured, but have you considered the purchase of the vehicle?....sales tax in the state of purchase?....19% duty at the border?....sales tax in the province you live?....there's so much cost involved that it only makes sense to wait till it comes to Canada..........unless you are lucky like me and have a green card and claim residence in the U.S. aswell as here. that's how I get around it, cause it's registered in NY state. I tried to get it here but met way too much red tape to warrant any effort. just somethin for ya to think about!!!!!
