can anyone tell what the major benefits are of getting the oz series rather then the es is? i'm getting a lancer in march and i could save like 7 grand getting the es instead of the oz. the only visable diferance that i can see is the rims, i don't care for the dealership spoiler, but are the engine specs that much better? is it worth 7 grand? also what you think, i've saved up 2gs for mods, i'm thinking to lower my car 3 inches, and get some white 5 spoke rims, good idea? thanks alot in advance

muahahaha i said it first j/p seriously this question has been adressed many times... it really jus depends on personal preference towards color. interior, some exterior etc.

Interior is Darker (like LS, but has option of Manual Transmission), Rear Sway Bar, OZ Rims, Colors (Yellow, Bright Red), Guages are White and Circular, Seats are Different, OZ Lip Kit.

Overall i think its a great ride. Great Mileage, enough power to get me around (but a little more wouldn't hurt), looks good (a lot of my friends want it) and im glad i went with ths car. I keep finding more and more things i like about it and its just starting to grow on me.

If you are going to keep the car for a while i would recommend OZ, i could never go for the es, just a matter of opinion. but if you dont mind a lot of the features not being in teh es then by all means save 7 grand and do something cool with it.

 

by the way engine specs are the same, no diff in hp

 

no rear anti sway bar

 

Don't forget the OZ has two extra speakers vs the ES 4. Sucks having an Es...

 

actually the LS has the 2 extra speakers and they are tweeters. The OZ has 4 like the ES does.

 

so ur gonna pay 7 grand...for a rear sway bar that breaks the perches if upgraded, some 15" wheels, lip kit, and a slightly more stylish interior?

bro..save the 7grand, get the ES Take the loan for the extra 7g's and get a Turbo Charger or Super Charger and just about every other performance mod u need to do 14's and possibly high 13's.
