Current evo owner, up a creek (.02 required)

Ok so im not a "noob", but this is for evo advice, so i dont know where else to post it.

the low down is im a college student with an evo. did a huge overhaul last summer (built motor, head, new turbo kit, twin disk, speed density, etc.) and have had the car for two years total (one year with a bbk full and bolt ons, like 8 months with the setup on it now). i dont drive much when up at school, but rack up a lot of miles during summers.

upon getting back for the summer, im looking for a daily. found a nice *** truck (low mileage, good shape, warranty, minor mods, small lift) but it creates an issue. trucks are very beneficial for work since i work near the ocean (tides, etc.)

do i keep the evo and get a cheap daily, only to possibly replace the daily in a year or two? or is it time to be mature and sell the evo for the nice truck, and take the financial hit of what i just put into it but have one vehicle paid off?

i go to school a long ways away, so if the evo is a secondary car, itll sit for like 8 months out of the year. its not the best daily material though (flood waters, bad weather, stop and go traffic, etc.), and with the miles put on it this summer i would surely have to replace the QM clutch in the next couple months. plus with it as my daily, im afraid to have fun with it for fear that it breaks and i have nothing to drive.

i hate thinking about it, but i know the smart choice is buy the truck, have fun with the evo for the summer, sell it before i leave.

cliffs: i messed up and did things backwards. i built a performance car without having a reliable daily. now finances are making me decide.
