New guy from Ohio

New to DSM/Evo's but can't wait to get my hands on one. Just sold my daily and my race car not to long ago and on the hunt for the right Evo. Located in Columbus, Ohio. Currently the only toy I have is a 2008 Hayabusa.

08 Busa:
- V/R Stage 1 Kit
- Bazzaz ZFI
- +8 over
.. blah blah blah

Goes on the dyno tomorrow 8)

Last season long with a pipe only:

As she sits right this second:

Old Toys:
2003 SVT Cobra
- Hellion T76
- Bult 8.8
- Built 4 Valve

2004 ZO6
- Fast 92 w/ Ported LS2 TB
- Vortech V1

2004 Cadillac CTS-V
- IPS Exhaust
- K&N Drop-in

Anyways thanks for having me hope to learn allot and build a nice daily Evo that makes some decent power

I really want to just have a fun daily (like my CTS-V was huge mistake selling that). I want to do basic mods and little things with the ambitions of getting close 350+ on pump with out doing a major turbo upgrade. I don't plan to take it to the drag strip but to AutoX it occasionally. I want to put more money into how it handles then anything. I am reading through to see what coilovers everyone is using and why.

Welcome! Interesting to see the line of cars you're coming from.. What spurned the desire to go with an Evo?

What kind of timeslips have you run on the bike?

I have a few friends with them, and I use to own an 06 WRX back in the day and enjoyed the hell out of that. I just want to get into something practical for year around driving and still has a fun factor.

Last year went 9.56@142 w/ 1.56 60ft. 8 over with just a pipe, no tune, and foot shiftin. This year I am shooting for mid 8's

The Cobra was sold shortly after the build, the Z never made it down the track, and the V was my chill car.

Picked up a IX thank you EvoM (and Eric Peteypab2133). Couldn't be happier with it!
