Plates are gonna expire soon n I failed the emmissions it threw a evap control code anyone know where I can start looking to fix this ... Thank u

 

not familiar with that code, but other people who needed to pass the emission test is that they used/borrow/or bought the stock exhaust

 

Yeah I know what u mean I did the whole spark plug fouler thing but the cel keeps coming up .... Thank god one of my friends has a stock one laying around just didn't want to go through the whole hassle off taking mine off n putting the stock one on ... But guess ima have too

You need to pull the code so peeps can chime in. If you have no code reader you can buy one, or have the code pulled my a shop. I think Autozone may be able to pull the code for you as well, then post it up.

 

Find someone with ECUFlash & a tactrix cable, disable all the EGR crap & rear 02 via ecuflash and you can "force pass inspection"...

 

ok i finally have time to post up the code autozone gave me ... the scanner gave me a p0446 ... anyone ever have this code come up n figured what it was ... plz help as plates have expired already lol

where you loated? if you in sacramento area you can bring the car to my uncles smog shop, he can check the code for you, show you where and what to replace in order to pass smog, and much more,, all my evos been tru him..
