New Guy

Well I picked up an EVO IX for a graduation present to myself. It has a damaged tranny so I got a good deal on it. I have been doing my research on here and after doing some reading I went with Sheptrans for the rebuild. I just boxed up the tranny a few days ago and it should be going out tomorrow if Fedex shows up.

I am formerly a Honda guy (same screen name on Honda-Tech) and I've been messing with the them since about 2001. I still love the cars, but now that I have the EVO I can refer to my civic hatch as my daily. I also had a bugeye WRX for awhile and that is what ultimately lead me to the EVO. I got rid of the WRX years ago to get a house and go back to school. Now that I graduated and have a house, it's time for a fun car again.

Here are some pics of my old cars and the new to me EVO.

(and just FYI, I'm not a trendy guy with a bike rack, I actually do Mnt. Bike fairly often )
It has different wheels on it now, but I don't have any pics with them.

And my old Suby.

And my old B16 Si hatch.

And the EVO.

And coming from a Honda background, holy hell these cars are not nearly as easy to work on, hopefully it will make up for that with fun to drivness.
