Newbie!

What's up ppl... Have used this forum for a while now and found alot of helpful stuff although I never introduced myself... Hello ppl here are very helpful so hopefully someone can direct me to the right place I just bought a head and it was sitting for a while so it has some dirt and stuff was wondering if anyone knows of something I could use to clean it without taking to a shop.. Would appreciate the help

A can of CRC brake cleaner should do some good. Non-chlorinated. I'd blast it with compressed air first though...

As a side note, you may want to have someone straight-edge it to make sure its not warped/cracked or anything. You buy it new?

No it's not new the guy I bought it off had work done at a shop which I can't remember the name of... They had put in some supertech springs retainers and valves with some cosworth 272s car was run for 2k on e85 was taken off bcuz car was totaled... Thanks I will try both suggestions
