Transmission HELP!!!!!!

I recently got my evo 8 with 80k and the trans was shifting smooth and everything until one day i launched off my two step and then a day later i started having problems shifting. i have a exedy twin disk clutch on it and i need help im about to change the fluid in the trans and see if that will help anything. from the forums i think my throw out bearing is stuck so if so i need help. plzzzzz help

changing the fluid isnt going to do anything.

If you wheel hopped it on that launch you probly wore something out.

The exedy twins are prone to warping the pressure plate if you over heat it by slipping the clutch too much. The symptom of this would be hard to get it into gear, even at idle, at a stop.

ya that too I forgot to mention that.

The exedy twin and triple have a rather thin aluminum pressure plate, which can warp.

Also they pop the TOB off sometimes as well, mine popped off last month, now I have the AMS push conversion for it.

yea i can shift with it off,but i recently adjusted the clutch pedal and made a big difference i can actually now. but i have a third gear grind now . where can i buy some synchros,i was looking at jackstransmissions.com for some but idk.

Shep makes really good trannies, but if you are going to buy synchros buy bronze synchros not brass...
