Looking to buy 03 Evo...Opinions...No or Yes?

I'm looking to buy an evo from a guy that I know through my cousin. He's got an 03 evo with 95k miles and it dyno 345 hp to the wheels...don't know about the torque.Still on the stock turbo. It's got a nice set of tuner wheels as well. He says that the car is reliable and has no issues. He needs to sell the car due to personal finance problems.

He is asking $10k for the evo and it's got a clear title as well. I'm new to the evo scene and was wondering if this would be a reliable daily driven car based on the power numbers and is this a fair price as well? Anything I should look out for? I need opinions from the evo owners on here.

Some stuff to look out for... Condition of the clutch, get a compression test done, check out 4th to 5th gear shift. Of course if there isn't anything wrong with the car, it should be fine to daily drive. The price seems fair, but can get expensive quickly if anything major goes wrong.

I'm wondering is the mileage too high and will it still be reliable with the power output it's got right now.

Seeing what the owner is asking for the car, the odds are that it won't be reliable and that it will cost you a bunch before the whole thing is over. Good luck.
