Sold my STi.. now what?

So anyway, sold my beloved 2004 Subaru STi last year in anticipation for my wife and I's first baby =) Since then, between the diaper changes, numorus vehicle changes (98 240sx, 93 240sx, 83 Datsun 280zx, 1g DSM, and a RHD Legacy) I've FINALLY gotten to the point where I can get back into something fast, fun, and up to date!

So that is why I'm here. I'm ready to turn to the dark side lol. I'm in search of a low mileage Evo 9 and would like to become familiarized with the community.

Evo's are dope cars but the community is a bit smaller than with the Subbies. I'm not a Subbie fan , but I do envy the sheer number of volume they have out there for parts (old and new), tuners, car clubs, and forums. Although, Evo owners are fewer they're just as dedicated, if not more so than the Subbie dudes. In regards to the Evo IX, GET ONE! They're fast as hell and you van do a lot with them.

I've been doing quite a bit of searching looking for the perfect one for me (2006+), basically the only thing I'm limited to is budget. The most I can spend is 18k, but here's the kicker... vehicle has to have under 40k on the odometer. Basically have to find someone giving it away.

Thanks for all the warm welcomes. I'm sure I've found the proper community to get me in the right direction. The search continues for my Evo.

Welcome to the forums. However, it's going to be a tad difficult to find an Evo IX anytime soon with 40k miles or less that is selling for $18k or less, assuming you want one that has never been in an accident. That's pretty low, considering that there is always a demand for lower mileage cars, especially the IXs (as not everyone is completely fond of the Xs). But good luck with your search, I hope you find one.
