How much on average is a transfer case in an IX? (Ball Park and intalling it yourself)
Where's the best spot to shop for OEM parts?

3) Depends - the 8 is better for drag racing (no mivec), the 9 is better for road racing. The blocks are (almost) the same, its the heads that are different. Though you can argue which is better. I'm biased, since I own an Evo 8
4) OEM Clutch, the ACD in the IX's and the transfer case in the VIII's because of the open differential.
