I've been on these forums off and on while turboing my 3rd gen eclipse with parts from this car and I finally caught a good deal at a dealership and parted out with my turbo kit and traded in my eclipse to upgrade to an Evo. I had the Eclipse for about 3-4 years and it was time for an upgrade. I think its the GSR cause its power everything but doesn't have the MR badge. Its weightless white and very clean for having 85k miles on it. It was serviced at 72k so I feel a bit more comfortable with the miles. The only mods it has is AEM filter and intake pipe, Hallman boost controller, cat-back exhaust and a boost gauge ontop of the steering column. She does need a little tlc, the carbon wing is showing some sun wear and the turbo has a lil shaft play, but I'm very happy with the new car.

Haha yeah I've heard about this mod bug haha.

I have a question. When I rev it up, like in the high rpms it sounds like something is loose and rattling. Really noticable when I'm just parked and rev real high and then let off. Can also hear it when I drive hard. I thought maybe it was because with my old turbo, it had shaft play and thats what was rattling but its still doing it with a newer one so I don't think it's the turbo

 

Is it in the motor or what?

 

Maybe..?

 

I'm gonna take it to a shop and see what's goin on
