Hello all. New to the forum. Currently rockin an 04 A4 b6 1.8T q 6mt USP. Love it, but I am tired of the German side and want some better HP thats easier to work on and less $ to modify. I know its not super cheap. But I have dumped close to 10K in that engine bay and am only Pushing 300hp.

Just recently drove my first evo. 06 gsr, and fell head over heals for the car. It was pretty banged up on the outside and they were asking way too much for it so I decided to just keep on the hunt for a nice one with fair pricing. Also had 89K on it and were askin 22k. Too much IMO.

Right now going to look at an 05 electric blue evo this sunday. Hopefully I'll have one b4 the end of this month.

Least I'm not the only one who left the German game for that reason... I dumped thousands into my passat... my daily/show car... and after multiple turbo problems.. I gave in...

I now own a gorgeous Blue By You 2004 Evo... after driving it the first time... I Completely forgot about my passat.... and I will never look back

I have never had so much fun driving a car like my evo. Best choice EVAR!!!


as for that Evo with 89k on it for 22k. thats insane!!! I got mine with 89k and a NICE mod list for 15,950.... and the paint was amazing inside and out the car was flawless..

Dealers overcharge for Evo's... I searched for mine for 8 months before finding the right one... which I found on here Good luck on your hunt

Yeah man I was tired of the constant boost leak, and turbo problems, this thing, that thing. Throwing codes left and right. Too much of a headache anymore. I want reliable Romparound power and bang for my buck. Its seems that the Evo fits that script. The car has been sitting there for ever now. I have seen a million ppl test drive it(including myself) but no one will take it because they are asking waaaaay too much money.

Dont get me wrong tho, I will miss my audi terribly. My friends and I joke around that I am going to have to drive blindfolded(the evo interior is super ugly compared to the Audi) but I will cope with it knowing I can dust a fat pig of an audi. lol

It was def love at first drive for me tho. As soon as I got out of the car I told the salesmen I am buying this car for the price I want, or I am going to find another one. He wouldnt budge in the price, so I said See ya!!!

mmmmm yellow is fresh. Too loud for me tho...not like the EB wont catch attention too tho. lol

 

i also came from the german scene i came from 2b5 s4's stage 3 i dumped so muchh money in those cars its just ridulous and it still would be back in the shop every week i dumped countless thousands and it erks me how much money i wasted on them and how i lost everything. Dont get me wrong there decent cars when running rite but that very veryy rarely, the parts were overpriced and labor and engine compartment room was horrible noo roomm, you basically have to pull the motor for everything. As true as it sounds there legit the biggest POS on the road to me no other car ever gave me so much trouble. I drove a evo and fell in loveee the next week i had 1 with boltons/ cams its as fast as my stage 3 s4 (400whp) with minor mods

 

Yeah I hear that... You certainly give up luxury from german to the Evo... but honestly... I cant tell you how much I love how simple the Evo is setup.. especially compared to the 1.8t's... and the parts range for Evo's is endless!!

I thought the same thing that I would miss my passat terribly... I put so much into that car... placed first at Waterfest this year... got a full Canibeat feature so much recognition with that car.. thought for sure it would be hard to let it go... uh wrong I bought the evo and never looked back LOL. Even has the rear wiper.. like umm... yes!

I was looking for White/Yellow/Blue. but blue was my first choice. got BBY and yeah driving anywhere and everywhere... it is hard for people NOT to look at it
