New from Corona, CA

How's it going. I was recently given a EvoIX, yes given. so i decided I better get acquainted to their inner workings. I have owned many nice, fun cars but never a Evo. I do love them though. Story about the car is, My buddy whom originally owned it, used it for rally racing/fun. He did a lot of work to it but also destroyed it. After 4 or so years of abuse he was called to Japan for the military. He decided to part out most of the good stuff on the car then give it to me. To my knowledge the car has/had...
-RC1000cc injectors (which he sold)
-High flow fuel pump
-lightweight flywheel
-Injen Inter cooler piping
-puck clutch (not sure how aggressive)
-small battery
-Head studs
-bigger inter cooler (which he sold)
-Gruppe-S 3 port Solenoid
-4" exhaust turbo back
-AEM intake
-test pipe
-E85 Tune by Reese tuning in SD (not recommended!!)
My inital problem was and still kind of is the car's tune was set up for all this stuff i no longer have. I flashed the ecu back to stock but the Gruppe-S is messing up the boost and making me run lean. I would actually love to trade the Gruppe-S 3 port for a stock Boost Solenoid if anyone wants. I'm still learning how to tune Evo's which is hard but I will try.
Here is what I have...

There is some damage that I need to fix, Like the bumper and door...

And a dash that use to have some sexy Defi gauges in it is now odd and empty.

My plan is to get this car looking good again and running good so my buddy has something nice to come back to in 3yrs.

The car ran like **** after the tune. didn't give dyno numbers for weeks... and didn't help me with any on the reflash back to stock. Massimo Power was a way better help and he doesn't even tune.
