As the title says, I was getting all crazy and going through the gears, and i didn't press the clutch in far enough for 2nd to 3rd and grinded ... It was very quick and i let it out after I felt it.

My question is... How well do these trannys hold up to an accidental grind every now and then.

I have an 05 8 , 5 speed btw

The chances of having to replace a transmission due to accidental grinding is slim to none. Just don't make it a habit.

agreed. Apologize to the car and don let it happen again. The 5 speed holds up very well.

I've done this on my X, haha. It feels so bad. But you'll be alright. So will the car.
