Take it to a tuner near you and dyno it.

Thanks for the input fellas. Will most definitely get this thing on the dyno stat. Anyone know in the general area how much that's going to cost?

Get in touch with Chad Block at CBRD(Chad Block Racing Development...I think?), in York, PA. This is the absolute best specialized Evo shop for tuning, dyno testing, parts, service, advice, and etc. in your general area. It is about a 100 mile drive from your location. Personally, that is where I would take my Evo if I lived in your area.

Additionally, I,d recommend getting rid of that K&N Typhoon intake system. Replace it instead with a Perrin intake. Also, you are going to need to upgrade from the stock fuel pump to a 255 LPH WALBRO drop-in pump ASAP! Then have CBRD tune your car.

Down the road you might consider installing a set of aftermarket camshafts such as GSC S1, or S2, or a pair of Kelfords. Eventually, you might want to upgrade the stock IC to a CBRD intercooler which uses the 3.8" Garrett core.

Your in PA, def go to CBRD for tune and uprade suggestions/support. Not sure if your fuel pump is upgraded yet you def need that before tuning. There only a hundred bucks or less and an easy install. CBRD can check and install if you aren't sure about it.
For further mods you will want to look at upgrading factory turbo - minimum 10.5 hotside or evo 9 turbo or any of the FP or CBRD stock frames, upgraded injectors and a good FMIC. You don't need to rush this but you have a decent startig set of supporting mods already. Good luck and have fun!! I will be turning 100K on my Evo 8 today when I run some errands.

Yeah go get a dyno and see how stock the numbers are....then get you a dual map tune for e85 and 93octane depending on if your area support that Hightower of a octane. Out here in wa they only have 92oct.

Miles? I'd start with some maintenance unless you know it doesn't need to be done. As everyone else has mentioned...get an updated tune.

Going to someone reputable will be able to help make sure you have the right combo of mods. If it has been tuned there is a chance the fuel pump was upgraded. If not, I'd get a new fuel pump to go along with the tune.

I've heard bad things about the typhoon as well with no experience, so you may want to look for a different one.

Otherwise...Congrats!

Congrats!

Bring it to anyone of the tuners. CBRD, IVEY, Petey, Etc.

All are about and hour or so away from you. I actually drive down to that casino every now and then.

Good Luck.
