Lightbulb How does this sound....

After doing some homework, I concluded that I dont want to mess with my engine quite yet. I dont know much about auto mechanics, but Im picking things up pretty quickly. Anyway, before I get too involved on my limited budget, I figured I can handle improving the handling. Here is what I am planning:

1) Get some Eibach or Tein springs. Im leaning towards the Tein for now.
2) Get a tow bar. No tradeoff on my traction, but improved cornering. I can handle that!
3) Depending on finances either:
a) Get some new larger rims/tires and a set of strut bars. The tradoffs will be about offset some. Ill probably go cheap. The XOXO ebay ones have had good reviews. Comments?
b) If I feel lucky, start messing with the engine. Probably a short intake (its an automatic 02 ES).
c) If I am low on $$, keep reading the forums ;]
4) If the situation with shocks improves, get a new set, depending on feedback from others.
5) Go for some disc brakes. The conversion for the ES is fine, right?

Does this sound logical? Spoilers look cool, but is worth the investment early on? Anything I am forgetting? Thanks again for the feedback!!

it's all about what you want. handling is not a bad way too go. short ram intake would put a little pep in your step. it's all about what you want to do. if you're looking to build a show car make it look good. if you're looking to build a race car, then make it go fast. but anyway, suspension sounds like a good start. hope you enjoy the car man.
