New to Evos
Hi All!
So, I've had my car for about a month now. I've spent a fair amount of money correcting some "modifications" done by the previous owner.. Now the car seems to be in a better state of being. Almost.
I traded in my 2003 VW GTI
For my 2003 WW GSR
Paint needs to be cleaned up a little bit. But nothing too serious, and I either need to replace or refinish the spoiler. But all in all, it's a great car, and only had 70k miles. Much better than the 90k on my GTI. Peace of mind. Hopefully.
Mods done correctly: Shephard 5-speed, and ACT clutch (though I don't know to what degree that is) Hotchkis rear sway, Cusco frame brace, and it did have a HKS EVC.. But that was installed incorrectly to the point of where it broke itself. So, stock boost solenoid now.
Evo 9 interior, tails, and 9 MR suspension. Lastly, they relocated the battery to the trunk. Somewhat of a messy job, but I can fix that easily.
Still trying to learn a lot more. Still trying to hunt down anything else done incorrectly so I can correct it. Gotta fix everything up before I can modify it correctly.
