Hello...

New here, I currently own a white SRT4 but I am looking to buy a Evo in the near future. I am keeping the SRT and I want an Evo as the next car to have fun with. I joined cuz I hope to find a good deal on one sometime after the new year in a couple of months. Anyone suggest anything to stay away from in the Evo world or years of the car that seem to have the biggest problems? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Only real problem is that some Evos have terrible past owners. Also, since you're used to the SRT-4 and it's maint. prices, do a bit of research befor eyou even think about buying, the Evo is MUCH more expensive.

Oh I am already ready for that. I have had friends who have had them so I know a little bit about them. I have heard that if they have been abused then the transfer case goes out in them quickly, but that is just what I have heard.
