EVO IX & EVO VIII Inquiry...

Hey guys after testing a large quantity of cars(sti,s2000,350z/g35, mx-5) I've decided that I want to get an evo....Problem is until now I've been in the mazda and nissan scene so I don't know a whole bunch about what to look for when buying a used evo....What do you guys think of this batch of evo's not including the X and the salvage title one.....Can't really figure out if the 9 is much better then the 8 but I'm sure there is 1000 threads on this forum about that, it's just a matter of finding them lol.......Anyways your opinions would be greatly appreciated

When I first joined this forum, before making a single post, I searched every topic of interest and I'd suggest the same for you. Go to the forum header, click on Search (not the search box) and go to Advanced Search. This being said, you may want to start by reading the stickied threads. Good luck.

The only car that looked halfway good was obviously put back to stock, and done so badly that whoever owned it before installed an ancient cassette player in lieu of the stock HU, like the thing is so hard to find. The RS kinda looked OK on the surface, but was also put back to stock-ish. The rest are pretty obvious. There's a reason why the cars are cheap.

This is from a thread located inches below:
