i started a topic about engine swaps, and they moved it here. this is not the engine tech room. and if it would have remained in the lancer engine tech section, i would have got some valuable input. its frustrating a bit, but i guess i understand.

It was moved because it's been answered. Other threads may not specifically asked about that particular motor, but the answer will be the same:

Any amount of money and time will produce a swap. You can do it, but i'll cost fat cash and plenty of time and experimentation.

As for potential problems, who knows? Nobody can give you an accurate example of problems you'll run into because, well, nobody has tried before.

Although I agree that your thread had not been discussed before (because of the specific engine) the basic question had been asked, and covered, many time.

I will agree that this should have been moved to newbie, but an explanation of why should have been given.
