alright i changed the coils sparkplugs and i took it to the shop in san diego reeses tuning and they said i may have to rebuild my transmission casue of some 5th gear slip or something any truth to that ?

 

1st off rebuilding anything in the transmission due to slipping has got to be the most insane thing I have ever herd, I think you may have misunderstood them.... A manual transmission can not slip. A clutch can slip. The 2 are not related. Only reason for rebuilding a transmission would be from grinding.



Put you car in 5th gear at 50mph. Slam on the throttle.

What plugs are you using, gap ect.

 

ngk i think but 3rd dosent missfire bad but 4th is worse then 5th does it worse but it all happens around 4 thousand rpms and then sometimes a back fire

Info like mileage, who tuned it, what model ngk plug, modifications done to your car would be a large help. Also complete sentences are just easier on the eyes.

 

idk if it is the plugs cause it ran fine for a 3 weeks then just messed up and started missfiring then after that i changed the plugs and all that but i will try what u said so put it in 5th at 50 mph and step down on it all the way cause anything above half throttle is when it does it
