Hey guys, I have a few questions, and would appreciate it if you could provide input. I am 15, turning 16 in September, and am continuing to search for car. I am a car enthusiast/geek. So before anybody thinks that I would only get an Evo to show off (which the majority of kids my age would), I want you to know that this is not the case. I love cars, and therefore want one that I can be proud of. I am paying for the car myself, as well as insurance, so I was considering an 03. What do you think of this idea? Also, I am not sure if this will help answering the question, but I race shifter karts throughout the summer (for those of you who dont know, shifter karts are basically hyper go-karts, and can do over 105 mph on the small track I race on). Also, how are maintenance costs and such?

nice video, is that you? anyways, good to hear that you are getting an evo, its an awesome car.
it depends on what your future plan is, if you are going to race (any race) this car is beast. i am a regular guy drives an evo on regular basic drive (all stock), all maintenance seems alright. but if you are going to mod it, sure you have to save some from now on. but it will be worth it.
