New EVO owner
Hello to everyone here on the forum. Been a long time EVO lover and a recent EVO owner. Made the switch from an 07 Mustang GT about a month ago.
I've done a lot of reading on these forums and I'd like to thank everyone who has contributed because they are AMAZING and totally helpful.
Basic info:
Currently just picked up a 2006 EVO IX RS. 22k miles. Mostly stock. Only mods were Apexi turbo timer and CUSCO OS-T rear suspension triangle brace. I just added a stereo because its my daily and no music is killing me!! (Also I posted a question in Show n Shine for anyone that may be able to help)
Future mods:
Currently planning for a TBE (Greddy TI-C, AMS, or Megan), CAI/filter kit (Perrin, Buschur, or ETS), LICP (undecided/does it really matter?), MBC (undecided..), and a tune (does anyone know a good tuner around the KY area? So far I was looking into Mellon in TN). At some point I'd love to get a hold of some Volk TE-37s.. haha but so wouldn't everyone else!! Also any suggestions on other basic mods for a daily/trying to get a few more HP would be appreciated.

Wow that's a good find! Welcome to the forums! Looks like you got a good basis for where you wanna start modding the car. Only other mod I would consider would be a pump along with your tune.

Definitely a handling upgrade. The stang was turbo'd too though. I put out 415 to the wheels. But I can't wait to drop some mods on the Evo and see what she can do!
