New guy here...

Hey! New guy here from MidWest here. I've been driving beaters for awhile and now, am looking for an 8/9 Evo. I found an TB SE with 35k miles in the local area at the mitsustealership asking for $23.5. It does have mods on it: FP Green, AMS intercooler, AMS TB, , AMS fuel rail, walbro pump, and tuned by Buschur with dyno #s (although Buschur has no records). Also, the stealership replaced the stock clutch with an ACT. This is there justification for the price. It seems to drive fine as far as tranny/clutch, no leaks. It does have an AEM wideband, but not sure what the reading should be anyway (depending on what gear/speed etc, it varies from 11-14 and hits 15/16 once in a while. Do you guys think its a fair deal? Does mods bumped the price up of an Evo?

Thanks for the advice in advance and already loving the forum with all the how tos!

I apoligize for the coming rant but...

I used to work for a stealership here and mods or not the NADA or KBB is what we when by. The mods people put on there cars only gave them $500-1000 max on a trade because naturally most of the mods will not reflect in the NADA or KBB. But it try no to buy something that will a serious hit when I leave the lot. Are they going to cover all the aftermarket parts?

But I did by my Evo when some aftermarket parts with no stealership mark up and I'm happy I did.
